Game two of the series, originally slated for 1 p.m., has been pushed back to 6 p.m. to avoid potential weather earlier in the day.

GAME NOTES
Baylor Head Coach Glenn Moore on getting off to a fast start — "We talk a lot about if we can give our pitchers some breathing room, they're going to pitch a little more relaxed, we did. We had an opportunity to do a little more damage in the second inning. I was certainly happy to see Peyton come out and control the zone, then for our offense, give her some room there, that was big."
Amber Toven on the importance of getting this win to start the series — "This one was pretty up there. I mean, granted, I think we did pretty well against A&M — I know the score obviously didn't show that, but we were hitting the ball and seeing it well, so I think we kind of used that momentum to carry us into today and hopefully the rest of the weekend."
