Softball Announces 2027 Spring Slate

The Bears will face half of the 2026 Women’s College World Series Field in 2027
WACO, Texas – Baylor softball announced its 2027 schedule, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference on Thursday afternoon.
The schedule features 13 of 24 home games against NCAA Regional teams from a season ago. Overall, the Bears will see seven of the 16 Super Regional participants and four of the eight teams in the 2026 Women's College World Series.
The Bears open the 2027 campaign Feb. 11-14 at the Sarasota Softball Classic in Sarasota, Fla., alongside Texas State, Alabama, James Madison and Florida State.
BU will return to Waco for its home opener against South Dakota State on Feb. 16 before hosting the Getterman Classic Feb. 19-21. Houston Christian, Creighton and Tulsa are slated to join Baylor at Getterman Stadium for the weekend.
Baylor will then make its first of two trips to College Station for the Aggie Classic, Feb. 25-28, before returning to Davis Diamond for a midweek matchup at Texas A&M on March 9.
The Bears will also travel to Tarleton State on March 2 before hosting Louisiana for a three-game set March 5-7 and Louisiana Tech on March 10.
Conference play opens March 12-14 at Getterman Stadium when Baylor welcomes UCF to Waco. The series begins a pivotal stretch in which 12 of the Bears' first 13 games in March will be played at home, highlighted by a visit from defending Big 12 champion and national runner-up Texas Tech, March 19-21. Baylor will also host Sam Houston State (March 16) and UTA (March 17) during the month.
Following a three-game road series at BYU March 25-27, Baylor will stay on the road for a pair of midweek games at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UTSA before opening April with a three-game home series against Arizona State, April 2-4.
The Bears will then travel to Utah April 9-11 before returning to Big Getty for a second matchup with Texas State on April 14.
Baylor's final home series of the regular season will feature Arizona April 23-25, before traveling to Austin for a midweek matchup against two-time defending national champion Texas on April 27. BU concludes Big 12 play with a three-game series at Houston, April 29-May 1, ahead of closing the regular season with a two-game trip to Arkansas, May 7-8.
The Big 12 Championship returns to Devon Park from May 13-15, followed by NCAA Regionals May 20-23, Super Regionals May 27-30 and the Women's College World Series June 2-11 back in Oklahoma City.
Baylor enters 2027 coming off its 17th NCAA Regional appearance and a season in which the Bears battled through the Austin Regional to reach Championship Sunday. BU added one of the nation's top transfer classes, ranking among the top 25 nationally according to D1Softball.com.
Glenn Moore enters his 27th season at the helm of the Baylor program in 2027, joined by a retooled coaching staff that includes Jenny and Brad Fuller, who arrived in Waco from Northwestern State. One of the most decorated players in program history, Presleigh Pilon, who joins Moore's staff following her standout Baylor career as the Director of Player Development.
