• Redshirt freshman OF Hunter Snow delivered the big blow, a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the eighth against the Rebels. After another lead change and a tie, redshirt senior 1B Tyce Armstrong came through with the game-winning knock to score sophomore INF Pearson Riebock in the 10th inning, and fifth-year senior RHP Caleb Bunch shut things down to earn his third win of the year.
• BU returns 20 players from its 2025 roster, including three position player starters (Johnson, Sanders, Riebock), and welcomes 17 newcomers. Baylor has 19 underclassmen (Fr., R-Fr., So., R-So.) on its 2026 squad.
• 30 players on the 37-man roster are in their first or second years with the program.
ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT ON TUESDAY NIGHT
• Baylor is 4-1 all-time against Tarleton State, including a 3-1 record against the Texans under fourth-year head coach Mitch Thompson. The Bears have won each of the last three meetings.

• Against fellow teams from the state of Texas, BU is 2-2 in 2026.
• The Bears are 2-0 this year in midweek ballgames and have won 18 of their last 19 midweek contests, dating back to March 26, 2024.
