Bears Look to Finish Strong in Eugene Showdown
WACO, Texas – The No. 1-ranked Baylor Bears will travel to face the No. 2-ranked Oregon Ducks to continue in the most time-honored rivalry in NCATA history on Monday, April 6th at 8 p.m. CT at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
The Bears enter the weekend holding the No. 1 spot in the NCATA National Rankings for the 11th straight year, and they look to carry that focus into their continued defense of the title. The Bears hold a 29-13 lead in the all-time series with Oregon and look to continue the winning streak over the Ducks.
Baylor also picked up national honors this week. Mo Arthur earned NCATA Freshman of the Week for the seventh consecutive week, Leavy McDonald earned Specialist of the Week for the third time this season, and Payton Washington received an Honorable Mention for Athlete of the Week.
