Bears square up against Toreros for the second time in two seasons after winning in 4-3 in 2025
WACO, Texas – No. 37 Baylor women's tennis looks to bounce back Tuesday when it hosts No. 46 San Diego at the Hurd Tennis Center. Live scoring will be available on BaylorBears.com with court cameras provided by Playsight.
The Bears return to Waco at 10-6 after a 4-1 loss at No. 23 TCU on Saturday. Na Dong continues to lead Baylor in singles with the team's highest national ranking at No. 37, followed by Zuzanna Kubacha at No. 117.
Dong is unbeaten in her last 13 matches, earning 10 wins with three unfinished results. Kubacha secured Baylor's lone point Saturday at No. 2 singles and has won six of her last seven singles matches.
San Diego arrives on a four-match win streak, including a 4-2 victory over No. 54 Rice on Saturday morning in California. The Toreros are 3-0 in WCC play with wins over LMU, Portland and Santa Clara and hold a 2-1 mark against the Big 12 with wins over BYU and Utah and a loss to Arizona State.
Hannah Read is San Diego's only ranked singles player at No. 109. She is on a six-match win streak between the No. 2 and 3 courts and is 10-5 in dual-match play. Read and Anni Moll are the Toreros' winningest doubles pairing at 6-5, competing across all three courts this spring.
