March 24, 2017 Baylor-Kansas Game Notes
LAWRENCE, Kan. - No. 14/14 Baylor softball (26-5) kicks off its 2017 Big 12 conference slate on the road, facing the Kansas Jayhawks (18-12) in a three-game weekend series at Arrocha Ballpark at Rock Chalk Park.
Severe weather forecasts forced the Lady Bears and Jayhawks to delay Friday's conference opener into a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25, with game one scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Lady Bears swept the series with KU in Waco last season, including a two-run, walk-off home run by Robin Landrith to ice a no-hitter for Heather Stearns on Senior Day.
Both of Saturday's games will be broadcast on WatchESPN.com, with approximately 30 minutes separating the two games.
For this and all other road games this season, a live audio stream will be available for subscribers on BaylorBears.com/allaccess.
Baylor fans can follow action all season long on Twitter by following @BaylorSoftball and Baylor head coach Glenn Moore @BUMoore.
