Baylor Game Notes
HONOLULU, Hawaii - No. 21/22 Baylor softball (14-5) heads straight west from California to Honolulu, taking part in the Hawaii Spring Fling, hosted by the University of Hawaii.
Playing five games over four days, the Lady Bears will face North Dakota State twice, Hawaii twice, and California once.
Baylor is making its first trip to Hawaii since 2007, when the team went 2-3 against a tournament field that featured Hawaii, Cal, Liberty, and Nevada.
Both North Dakota State and Cal have either cracked the top-25 or received votes in one or both of the national polls this season, with Baylor expecting another weekend of tough competition.
Baylor finished off play in the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, Calif., last weekend, going 3-2 and picking up two wins over top-25 teams.
There will be live, free streaming video and stats available at HawaiiAthletics.com. Fans can follow along with live updates of the games and the trip by following the team on Twitter, @BaylorSoftball.
The Lady Bears will return to Waco and Getterman Stadium on March 15 for a doubleheader with Cleveland State, starting at 5 p.m.
