WACO, Texas - No. 20 Baylor softball (20-6) closes out its last week before conference play, hosting the UCF Knights (21-10) for a three-game series, starting on Friday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Getterman Stadium.
Baylor and UCF have met twice before, once in Orlando in 2008 and once at a neutral site in 2005, splitting the two games at one apiece.
In the most recent matchup in Orlando, the Lady Bears fell 3-0 to the Knights.
After returning from a season-high 16-game road trip, the Lady Bears are home for eight of the next nine games.
For UCF, the Knights have had a streaky season, winning the first four before losing the next seven, all to ranked teams.
UCF recovered with a 15-game win streak, all at home, before dropping two straight to Purdue and Florida Atlantic.
Most recently, the Knights took two from New Mexico State, ending a 15-game home stand.
The weekend series, and all home games this season, will be broadcast live with audio and video on BaylorBears.com/allaccess. Dan Ingham will provide the on-air commentary.
Keep up with the team all season long by following Baylor Softball on the team's official Twitter page, @BaylorSoftball.
