WACO, Texas - Baylor softball starts off its 2016 season with a three game series against the McNeese State Cowgirls (1-0), beginning Friday, Feb. 12, at Getterman Stadium.
BU will play three games Friday-Sunday, facing a McNeese State team fresh off a win over Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday evening.

Derek Smith will be doing his final broadcast for Baylor softball on Friday evening, joined by incoming play-by-play commentator Dan Ingham. Saturday and Sunday, new color commentators and former Baylor softball standouts Jordan Strickland and Kaitlyn Thumann will join the broadcast team, offering up their commentary throughout the season, alongside Ingham.
