COLUMBIA, Mo. - A four-run fourth inning from Missouri (41-9, 10-6) led the Tigers to an 11-6 win over Baylor (26-22, 6-11) Sunday afternoon at University Field. The Lady Bears and Tigers each totaled 10 hits on the day.

Nicole Wesley had three hits to pace the Lady Bears, while Dani Leal hit her ninth home run of the year as part of her two-hit day.

Missouri jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first, as a sac fly to left from Ashley Fleming scored Rhea Taylor and a two-out hit from Shana White doubled the lead.

Baylor answered back in the third as Megan Turk laced her third double of the year to left center with one out. Pinch runner Tiffany Wesley came in to score on a single from Kayce Walker, and a second run came in as Nicole Wesley singled and stole second, allowing Walker to score from third when the throw to got away.

The Tigers went back on top with an RBI-single from Nicole Hudson and a White groundout RBI, both with two outs, to put MU ahead 4-2.

The Lady Bears pulled within one in the fourth, as Jordan Vannatta ripped a single to center for an RBI that scored Kathy Shelton for her team-leading 38th RBI of the year.

For the second-straight game, however, the fourth inning was a big one for the Tigers. Catherine Lee notched her sixth homer of the year, a two-run shot, and Fleming hit a two-run blast of her own two batters later for an 8-3 lead.

BU loaded the bases with no outs in the fifth, bu could only manage one run, as Bree Hanafin hit a grounder to third that scored Walker, making it 8-4.

Missouri added three more in the fifth for a 11-4 advantage.

Baylor capped off its 10-hit day in the top of the seventh with Dani Leal's ninth homer of the year, a two-run shot to left center.

Courtney Repka took the loss, going 4.2 innings, allowing six hits, six runs, walking four and striking out one. Alicia Vasquez came on in relief for 1.1 innings, giving up four hits, five runs, walking one and striking out one.

The Lady Bears will wrap up conference play at home on Thursday against No. 12 Texas beginning at 6:30 p.m.
