Head Coach Steve Smith On performance from the bullpen:
"I thought Craig (Fritsch) was as good as we've seen him since the Big 12 Tournament last year. He was really sharp with everything. He should have gotten out of it with the lead but we had a missed play. He was the key. We didn't have to go to another guy. I think their guys pitched well, too. It's not like our guys aren't out there hooked up. They're pitching it pretty well. It was one of those games where a mistake or a bloop like Dan (Evatt) hit was the difference in the game."
On the offensive performance:
"A (Good performance) from two guys that haven't played much recently (Chris Slater and Josh Ludy) was good to see. When the wind is blowing in, this park plays big and for Gregg (Glime) to get a triple is really something. It came at a good time. It gave us the lead at the time. Then he got the sacrifice fly that scored the winning run. You had to feel good with him at the plate and the infield in and just needed a guy to put the ball in play."
On playing UT-Arlington consecutive nights:
"I told the team after the game `Guys, this is Tuesday. We do this one run stuff enough.' It was a fun game. I felt bad for Landis (Ware.) He had a couple of errors at shortstop. One was a pretty tough play and one was not. The one he took to his glove side was not an easy play. I thought they could have scored that a hit if they wanted to. Obviously he is struggling a little bit. I was glad to see him make the last play there. We won the game and I'm sure that will help him sleep better tonight."
