WACO, Texas --- For the first time in school history, the Baylor softball team will appear live in front of a national television audience as the home-and-home series between the Lady Bears and Texas will be televised by CSTV. Game one of the series is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. in Austin, Texas.

In the Waco area, CSTV is available on Time Warner (Ch. 435) and Grande (Ch. 223) cable systems as well as Dish Network (Ch. 152) and DirecTV (Ch. 610) satellite systems.

Carter Blackburn will provide play-by-play for the broadcasts with Ann Schatz handling color analysis.

The series will mark the second and third times the Baylor softball team has appeared on CSTV as the Lady Bears claimed a 7-2 win over Nebraska last year on the network in a broadcast that was tape delayed.

The series finale on Wednesday, May 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Waco will mark the first time a Baylor softball game has been televised at Getterman Stadium.

Texas owns a 14-5 edge in the series as the Longhorns enter the home-and-home series riding a three-game winning streak against the Lady Bears.
