A nationally respected veteran administrator, Park joined Baylor following a two-year tenure at Texas A&M University, where he served as Deputy Athletics Director for External Relations and Business Development. He has also held leadership positions at Washington State, UTEP, Texas State and Sam Houston State.
At Baylor, Park’s responsibilities include leading and supporting the Baylor Bear Foundation, serving as the primary liaison with the University Advancement Office for Major Gifts, overseeing ticketing, the “B” Association, and managing the university’s multimedia rights partnership with Playfly. He also directs all aspects of brand engagement, including Marketing & Fan Experience, Communications, Baylor Vision, Branding & Creative Services and Social/Digital.
During his time at Texas A&M (2022–24), Park was a member of the Executive Management Team, served as sport administrator for the baseball program, and led all external units, including Marketing, Game Management, Special Events, 12th Man Productions and Creative, and Communications. He also served as liaison to Learfield Sports Properties and the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Office.
Among his accomplishments, Park led the efforts to bring George Strait and the Mexican National Soccer Team to Kyle Field. The George Strait concert set the attendance record for the largest stadium show in North America at the time. He also collaborated with the 12th Man Foundation to help generate record ticket revenues and attendance at Kyle Field and played a key role in developing a comprehensive plan to capitalize on the historic 2024 football schedule, which included the return of the Lone Star Showdown. As sport administrator for baseball, Park supported the program in its run to become NCAA National Runner-Up in the 2024 College World Series.
Previously, Park served as Deputy AD for External Relations at Washington State after initially being hired as Senior Associate AD in 2018. His areas of oversight included communications, marketing, ticketing, creative services, video operations, and he served as sport administrator for baseball and liaison to Learfield.
Under his leadership, WSU's external units flourished, expanding their social media presence and hosting high-profile events such as ESPN’s College GameDay and the Klay Thompson and George Raveling jersey retirement ceremonies. In 2021, he helped secure an $11 million field naming rights agreement with Gesa Credit Union, resulting in Gesa Field at Martin Stadium.
Park’s tenure also brought growth in ticket sales and revenue for football and both men’s and women’s basketball. WSU received NACMA's Gold Award for "Single Game Sales Campaign" in 2020 under his direction. He co-chaired the Revenue Optimization Committee as part of the athletics department’s UNLEASHED strategic plan.
As sport administrator for baseball, he chaired the search committee that hired a new head coach in 2019 and played a central role in the development of Project: BTO (Back to Omaha), a $10 million privately funded initiative that resulted in the construction of the Cougar Baseball Complex.
From 2012–18, Park served as Senior Associate AD for External Operations and Development at UTEP, where he led ticketing, marketing, video production, and graphic design, and served as liaison to the school's multimedia rights partner. He also oversaw athletic fundraising, served on the senior staff, and was the sport administrator for football and men’s golf.
Notable projects included co-chairing the 2014 Conference USA Basketball Tournament, leading the university and city-wide committee for the 50th anniversary of UTEP’s 1966 NCAA Championship, and helping raise over $10 million for the planned $15 million renovation of the Sun Bowl in 2018.
Prior to UTEP, Park spent six years (2006–12) at Texas State as Assistant AD for Development, overseeing the Bobcat Club and managing major gift fundraising efforts. He was instrumental in the school’s transition from FCS to FBS.
Park began his athletics career at Sam Houston State, serving as the university's first athletic development and marketing coordinator in 2004 before becoming external operations coordinator in 2005.
As a graduate student at Texas A&M, Park worked in both marketing and athletics communications, and helped launch the highly successful 12th Man Team Rewards fan loyalty program, overseeing its budget and marketing strategy.
Park graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2002, and earned a master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management in 2004. He is married to the former Anna Johnston, and they have one son, Matthew, a junior in high school.
