WACO, Texas – Baylor women's golf announced its 2026-27 season schedule on Friday, featuring a 10-event regular season that spans from coast to coast.
With four tournaments within 150 miles of Waco and events on both coasts, head coach Jay Goble likes the mix this schedule gives his team.
"We love the way this schedule shakes out," he said. "We have a handful of tournaments within driving distance to give our supporters a chance to see us in person, while also testing ourselves on some different grasses in different climates. We have a couple of trips scheduled to Southern California, where we plan to end our season, so I'm really excited about this schedule."
The season begins in the Lowcountry at the Charleston Intercollegiate, as BU makes its first appearance in that event since 2021, when it finished second, followed by a return trip to the Schooner Fall Classic. The Bears last played the Schooner in 2022, finishing fifth, after winning it in 2020.
Baylor heads back to the Eastern time zone for the Tennessee Intercollegiate and its debut in the Knoxville, Tenn., event, which runs from Oct. 4-6.
The green and gold will be featured in a regular-season event on Golf Channel for the sixth-straight season at the ACU Intercollegiate in Granbury, Texas, from Oct. 19-21.
The Spring opens with a return to the Therese Hession Challenge for the 12th time and its first since 2024. Formerly known as the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, it runs from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2.
BU heads to The Woodlands for the Texas Golf Throwdown from Feb. 14-16, ahead of another trip out west to the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev., from March 1-2.
Palos Verdes, Calif., is the site of a second Baylor event in the spring as the GameAbove Invitational runs March 15-16.
The Bears finish the regular season with a Texas two-step starting with the Charles Schwab Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas, from March 22-23, followed by The 'Mo in Bryan, Texas, from April 4-5.
For the first time since 2019, the Big 12 Championship leaves the Lone Star State as it will be held in Las Vegas, Nev., from April 21-23. The NCAA regionals will take place May 10-12 with the six regional sites being: Aiken, S.C.; Dallas, Texas; Fort Wayne, Ind.; Franklin, Tenn.; Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and Stanford, Calif.
The NCAA Championships will once again be held at the Omni La Costa Resort Champions Course, May 21-26, in Carlsbad, Calif.
