Littlepage-Buggs suits up one last time in green and gold
PHOENIX – Baylor's Darianna Littlepage-Buggs has been selected as one of 20 players for the Lilly Women's All-Star Game and Combine at Grand Canyon's Global Credit Union Arena on April 3 and 4 as part of the Final Four festivities in Phoenix.
The All-Star Combine will begin at 2 p.m. CT on April 3 and will stream live for free on YouTube.
The following day, the All-Star Game will tip off at 1 p.m. on ESPN2 with full game rosters and team assignments to be announced soon by Intersport, placing Littlepage-Buggs on either Team Lieberman, coached by Nancy Lieberman, or Team Miller, coached by Cheryl Miller.
Joining Lieberman and Miller on the sidelines will be a group of accomplished coaches and basketball standouts. Alicia Berber, WNBA All-Star Marina Mabrey and Hall of Famer Ann Meyers Drysdale will serve as assistant coaches for Team Miller, while Stacey Lovelace and WNBA champion and Finals MVP Kahleah Copper will serve as assistant coaches for Team Lieberman.
Littlepage-Buggs, an All-Big 12 Second Team honoree also voted to the All-Defensive Team, ended her Baylor career by making a dent in the record books. She finished No. 4 in career rebounds, No. 5 in career rebounds per game, No. 5 in career double-doubles, No. 7 in career games started and No. 9 in career field goal percentage. She also ranked No. 8 in Big 12 history for career rebounds. She was named All-Big 12 in each of her four seasons.
The senior's campaign ended with 10.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, giving her the second consecutive title as the only player in the Big 12 to average a double-double throughout the season. Littlepage-Buggs collected her 1,000th career rebound against Colorado early in conference play to become one of nine Bears all-time to reach 1,000 boards in a Baylor uniform.
The Oklahoma City, Okla., native led the 2025-26 Bears in rebounding 25 times with 19 games in double figures and 23 in double-figure points. She tabbed a season-high point total of 26 in the nonconference bout against Le Moyne at Foster Pavilion and a season-best 20 rebounds in the Bears' top-10 road victory at Iowa State.
Last April, dozens of college basketball's top senior standouts including Baylor's Aaronette Vonleh converged in Tampa for the Women's College All-Star Game and inaugural Women's College All-Star Combine. Four All-Americans, six WNBA draft picks, five WNBA free agent signees and more than 18 all-conference honorees competed in front of a sold-out crowd.
Intersport launched the inaugural Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Challenge in 1998, which the WBCA operated through 2006. The Chicago-based agency was also a long-standing partner with the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and ESPN to stage the Women's Tip-Off Classic that annually featured the sport's top programs in high-profile matchups as part of ESPN's early season programming. Today, Intersport continues to operate major men's and women's college basketball events throughout the season including the CBS Sports Classic, the Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off, the Arizona Tip-Off and other major showcase events.
