Bears featured 11 times on national TV with four home games selected
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball will appear in 11 national broadcasts during the 2026-27 season, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday morning, with four of those games airing live from Foster Pavilion.
As previously announced, the Bears hit the national airwaves twice in non-conference play, facing Southern California at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, on Friday, Nov. 20, on Big Ten Network and Tennessee at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Friday, Dec. 18, on ESPN2.
Baylor's trip to Colorado on Saturday, Jan. 2, will air on CBS Sports Network as part of the recently announced agreement between the network and the league, which gives the Big 12 three national broadcast partners for women's basketball for the first time in conference history. The deal also gives the league 28 linear broadcasts for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
CBS Sports Network also will carry the first of three straight national TV games when the Bears visit Kansas on Saturday, Jan. 9, followed by a road game at TCU on Thursday, Jan. 14, on ESPN2 and a home game against West Virginia on Sunday, Jan. 17, on ESPN.
Baylor then stays home to host Iowa State on Saturday, Jan. 30, on FS1.
The regular season closes with four straight national games, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona, on FS1 before the Bears return home to host Oklahoma State, the preseason coaches' favorite, on Sunday, Feb. 21, on ESPN or ESPN2.
Baylor's final road game, at Kansas State on Thursday, Feb. 25, will air on FS1, as will the season finale against TCU at home on Sunday, Feb. 28.
The remainder of Baylor's schedule will be live on ESPN+ with tipoff times announced as determined by the hosting institutions.
Season tickets for the 2026-27 season remain on sale, starting at $130 and guaranteeing fans the best deal to secure a seat inside Foster Pavilion. Single-game tickets will be dynamically priced, with prices adjusted in real time based on market demand and opponent, and will go on sale at a later date.
Baylor is coming off a 25-9 campaign in 2025-26, finishing third in the Big 12 while extending the nation's second-longest active streaks of 20-win seasons (26) and consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (22). The Bears led the conference in blocks per game and 3-point percentage defense and ranked 14th nationally in field-goal percentage defense. Building on success, Baylor owns the most victories among Big 12 teams since head coach Nicki Collen took the program's reins ahead of the 2021-22 season, while Collen ranks third among active major conference head coaches in wins through their first five seasons at their current school and fifth in winning percentage in that same category.
The 2026-27 season kicks off with an exhibition against West Texas A&M on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Foster Pavilion before the season officially begins with Fairleigh Dickinson on Monday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. CT on the Banks of the Brazos.
Baylor women's basketball is presented by Central National Bank, a family-owned, independent bank headquartered in Waco, Texas, that provides uniquely personal service while simultaneously embracing the latest developments in banking technology.
