Game notes:
• Baylor returns to Waco for a pair of nationally broadcast conference matchups, beginning with Arizona State on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT. The game will air on FS1 and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
• The Bears and Sun Devils meet for the sixth time in the all-time series, with Baylor winning every contest, including the 2025 matchup in Tempe in Arizona State's first season in the Big 12 Conference.
• Ranked No. 1 nationally in 3-point defense, the Bears have held opponents to 23.3% shooting from beyond the arc this season, including 22.6% in Big 12 play.
• At 20-4 overall, Baylor is ranked No. 15 in both the AP Top 25 poll and the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. It is the Bears' 20th straight appearance in the AP poll and 361st over the past 20 seasons, the second most in that span behind UConn.
• BU is hunting its 14th Big 12 regular-season title, tied for the league lead with TCU at 9-2 through 11 games with four teams two or fewer games back.
• Through games on Feb. 5, Baylor is ranked No. 27 in the NET.
• The Bears are 3-3 against Quadrant 1 opponents, with BU's top win coming against Duke in Paris to open the season.
• Baylor bounced back with a six-point win at Cincinnati on Wednesday, boosted by 26 points from Taliah Scott and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs' 11th double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
• Jana Van Gytenbeek matched her career-high point total with 19, equaling her previous performance at Fifth Third Arena during the 2024 season.
• The Bears, who tied the program's single-game 3-point record against the Bearcats in 2025, hit 12 3-pointers in the game, finishing at 42.9% from deep and 36.5% from the field. Scott and Van Gytenbeek paced the Bears with five each, and Bella Fontleroy added the other two.
• BU opened the game with eight turnovers in the first 13 minutes but tightened up and did not commit another until the fourth quarter, while forcing 13 from Cincy that turned into 15 points for the Bears.
• Baylor picked up its 20th win of the season at Cincinnati, extending its streak to 26 straight seasons with at least 20 wins.
• The streak is the second-longest active run in NCAA Division I, behind UConn's 33 consecutive seasons.
• Head coach Nicki Collen became the fourth coach in the last 15 seasons to start her collegiate head coaching career with at least five 20-win seasons at the DI level and the third among power-conference coaches.
• Bears Taliah Scott and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs were named to midseason top‑10 lists for their respective Starting Five Awards through the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
• Baylor's two selections trail only South Carolina and UCLA, which have four each, and NC State and UConn, which have three. BU's two match 10 programs nationally and lead the Big 12, with BYU, Iowa State and TCU each earning one.
• Scott, selected to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Award top 10, ranks second in scoring among the group at 20.4 points per game, trailing Vanderbilt's Mikayla Blakes, who leads the list at 25.6.
• Littlepage-Buggs, back among the nation's top power forwards after being named a Katrina McClain Award finalist last season, is one of two players on this year's top‑10 list averaging a double‑double, joined by NC State's Khamil Pierre.
