Bears pick up their 20th win of the season to extend the second-longest active streak in the nation
CINCINNATI, Ohio – No. 15 Baylor women's basketball used a late first‑half surge to secure a 76-70 road win at Cincinnati on Wednesday. The Bears overcome a slow offensive start and closed the night strong behind double‑figure efforts from Taliah Scott, Jana Van Gytenbeek, Bella Fontleroy and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs.

The Bears found rhythm from deep in the second quarter. Fontleroy's second 3 tied the game with just over four minutes left in the frame, and Scott followed with a go‑ahead 3 for Baylor's first lead since the opening minutes.
Scott knocked down two more from long range as the Bears built their advantage, then added a layup in the closing seconds to send Baylor into halftime up three, 36-33. After eight turnovers in the first 13 minutes, the Bears did not commit another until the fourth quarter.
Cincinnati reclaimed the lead at times in the third, but Van Gytenbeek answered with her fifth 3-pointer of the night to put Baylor ahead by two entering the fourth.
The Bears closed it out with a 20-16 final period, led by 10 points from Scott, while Littlepage‑Buggs and Abraham added key baskets and rebounds to extend the margin. Baylor held its edge the rest of the way to finish off the six‑point win, 76-70.
