Third round canceled for inclement weather
HUMBLE, Texas– The final round of the All-American Intercollegiate was canceled Tuesday due to inclement weather, with the Bears in 11th place.
With the results from Monday's 36 holes standing, Johnny Keefer was BU's highest finisher with a tie for 14th, his 13th-career top-25 finish.
Playing as an individual, Tyler Isenhart finished tied for 43rd in a second-straight event, matching his best finish of the season. Isenhart fired a 1-over 73 in the second round, which is his best round of the season.
Mark Reppe tied for 56th at +10, Trey Bosco finished tied for 67th, Zach Heffernan finished tied for 72nd, and Luke Morgan tied for 82nd.
While BU could not improve its positioning on Tuesday, head coach Mike McGraw said the team would begin working for the next event.
"We were disappointed at not getting to play today," he said. "The guys were hoping to climb the leaderboard. We will get back to work and get ready for the next event."
That next event will be The Bear Brawl at Ridgewood Country Club on Monday, March 28. BU will welcome Texas State, UTSA and Abilene Christian, with each team playing two matches. The Bear Brawl is free and open to spectators and will be the first Baylor men's golf event held in Waco since the Baylor Invitational in 2005.
