THE RUNDOWN
WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer (8-4-0, 1-1-0 Big 12) used a second half goal to take a 1-0 win over TCU (7-3-2, 0-2-1 Big 12) on Friday evening at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field.
Taking advantages in shots (12-10) and shots on goal (10-6), BU finally broke through in the 59th minute, capitalizing on a set piece opportunity after a TCU foul.
Sarah King served in a pass into the scrum that was cleared back to Ariel Leach.

TOP QUOTES
"It's a fun atmosphere. The bigger the crowd, the better. It's so much fun to get to play in front of the people who support you and who got us here. It's just so much fun. There are parts you do have to tune out. How could you not hear the band? There's a tuba like 20 yards away from me. How could I not hear them?" – Baylor goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt, on the atmosphere of the game
"I listened to it the whole game. Baylor is definitely a family and when the family shows up to support us, it makes a huge difference in the atmosphere here. We love having our fans and Baylor students show up." – Baylor forward Camryn Wendlandt, on the noise of the band and the crowd
"Oh my gosh, unbelievable to have the band here and people just standing up all the way around the fence-line here. They were into it, they were fantastic. A lot of credit to them for giving extra energy to these girls when maybe they were starting to lose their legs a little bit. The energy from the crowd is a big, big player in this. That is one of the best atmospheres we've ever had a Baylor game and absolutely, I think that energizes our players, gives them definitely a home-field advantage. It was fantastic, and I just really appreciate the Baylor family being here for us tonight." – Baylor head coach Paul Jobson
