Bears look for sixth consecutive win in Big 12 play
WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball (17-7, 9-4 Big 12) will close out its Big 12 road schedule with a Monday night matchup against Texas Tech (16-10, 5-7 Big 12) at 6 p.m. CT inside United Supermarkets Arena.
The matchup will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus with Geoff Haxton and Mike Moffitt on the call.
Monday's match is the second of three matches the Bears are playing in a six-day span. BU swept Kansas State Saturday in Manhattan, Kan., and will host No. 5 Texas Friday in Waco.
Baylor looks for its seventh road win of the season and sixth-straight Big 12 victory.
BEARS CLOSE OUT BIG 12 ROAD ACTION IN LUBBOCK
• Following a dominant 3-0 victory at Kansas State last Saturday, Baylor volleyball looks to continue its hot run in the second half of Big 12 play against Texas Tech Monday night.
• BU looks to remain perfect in the second half of conference play with its sixth-straight Big 12 victory.
• The Bears are currently 5-2 in conference road matches in 2018, recently beating K-State on Nov. 10.
• BU looks to split the season series after a home loss to the Red Raiders on Sept. 19.
• A win would give BU its 26th victory in 29 matches against the Red Raiders.

• The Bears' loss snapped a seven-match winning streak against the Red Raiders (12-3, 1-0 Big 12) and first defeat to Texas Tech under fourth-year head coach Ryan McGuyre.
• Sophomore Yossiana Pressley led the Bears with 16 kills and posted 11 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.
• Senior Aniah Philo matched a season-high 21 digs and added 10 kills for her third-straight double-double and sixth of the season.

• No. 24 Baylor volleyball used a dominant offensive performance to roll past Texas Tech Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, 25-23, 25-9, 25-16.
• Without senior All-American Katie Staiger in the lineup, the Bears put up a .452 hitting clip and had six players hitting over .300, led by Yossiana Pressley with a match-high 14 kills on a .346 efficiency.
• Camryn Freiberg, Shelly Fanning and Aniah Philo all contributed nine kills each, and Philo added a match-high 10 digs in the win.
• Jana Brusek tied her season high in aces, finishing with three.
• BU handed Texas Tech its worst set loss of the season in set two (25-9).
