Played three seasons for Chicagoโs St. Ignatius College Prep...Played her final season for head coach Erik Eastman and helped her team to a combined 81-30 in her final three years...Her junior season, Brusek helped lead the Wolfpack to a 28-10 record and a Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) championship...Named All-GCAC in each of her final two seasons and was a three-time GCAC All-Academic team honoree...Left school as the second all-time leader in service aces (139) and was third all-time in digs (953)...Played club volleyball for the Wildcat Juniors 18 Black and coach Paul Tashima; her team finished fifth at the AAU Nationals in Orlando, Fla. in the 18 Open division in June, 2014...Involved in several extra-curricular activities in high school and volunteered with the American Legion in Chicago.ย
