-- No. 21/22 Baylor baseball dropped a 6-0 decision to Washington on Saturday afternoon at Husky Ballpark. The Bears (18-9) got behind early and the Husky (16-9) arms kept BU's bats at bay.

A pair of leadoff walks for Washington in the first led to a three-run inning. Then in the seventh, UW's first three hitters reached to ignite another three-run frame.

Baylor had a single by Matt Menard to leadoff the fourth, one-out single in the seventh by Aaron Dodson and leadoff single by Tucker Cascadden in the eighth but no runs came from the hits.

UW reliever Jordan Jones (3-4) earned the win, allowing no runs on three hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven innings. BU starter Montana Parsons (2-2) took the loss, surrendering three runs (two earned) on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
