THE RUNDOWN
MANHATTAN, Kan. ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Baylor baseball dropped a 10-4 rubber match at Kansas State on Sunday afternoon at Tointon Stadium. The Bears (18-22, 5-10) were unable to overcome the Wildcats' (18-22, 5-10) five-run third and four-run sixth innings.
BU started out on the right foot as Justin Arrington roped a two-run double in the second inning for a 2-0 lead. However, the lead did not last long as KSU scratched a run in the bottom of the second and dropped five runs on four hits and two walks in the third for a 6-2 lead.
