WACO, Texas ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" The Baylor men's golf team is headed to the Aggie Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M at Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.

The two-day, 54-hole event will be played on the par-72, 7,146-yard tournament course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There will be two rounds of play Saturday and a final round Sunday.

The Bears enter the tournament ranked No. 28 nationally in the latest GolfStat rankings. The 15-team field includes tournament-host No. 27 Texas A&M, No. 23 Arkansas, Charlotte, No. 49 Kent State, No. 18 LSU, Michigan, New Mexico State, North Texas, Ohio State, No. 15 Oklahoma, No. 12 Oklahoma State, No. 36 Texas Tech, UC Riverside and UTSA.

Baylor's lineup features Andreas Gjesteby, Frederik Andersen, Matthew Perrine, Braden Bailey and Garrett May. The Bears are playing in the Aggie Invitational for the seventh time and first time since 2012. BU's best finish at the tournament came in 2011, when the Bears took fourth place in an 11-team field. Baylor also played the event in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2012.

Tee times for Saturday's first round begin at 7:30 a.m. CT. Baylor players are paired with golfers from Ohio State and North Texas, and they'll begin on the 10th tee. May is up first at 8:10 a.m., and he'll be followed in 10-minute intervals by Bailey, Perrine, Andersen and Gjesteby, respectively.
