Baylor women's golf shot 16-over-par 592 across 36 holes on Monday at Sewailo Golf Course, placing the Bears in eighth place heading to Tuesday's final round at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational.

Laura Lonardi shot even-par 72 and 1-over 73, placing her in a tie for 13th place at 1-over 145. Giovana Maymon (+4) is tied for 25th place after posting consecutive rounds of 2-over 74, while Maggie Beth Byers (+6) is tied for 41st after shooting 1-over 73 and 5-over 77 on Monday.

Maria Vesga (+7) is tied for 47th following rounds of 1-over 73 and 6-over 78, Natalia Perez is tied for 66th at 13-over 157, and Mills Chenot, who is making her collegiate debut and playing as an individual, is in 84th place at 39-over 183.

Baylor was in fifth place following a 4-over-par 292 in the opening round, but the Bears fell back to eighth with a 12-over 300 in the second round. BU trails Arizona State (-2), Arizona (-1), Purdue (+6), Miami (+8), UNLV (+8), South Carolina (+11) and Vanderbilt (+14). The Bears are in front of Northern Arizona (+18), Michigan (+18), Washington State (+23), New Mexico State (+23), Colorado (+24), Kansas (+29) and New Mexico (+32).

HIGHLIGHTS
- Baylor made 14 pars in the first round, tied for fifth-most in the 15-team field.
- Baylor's 58 pars in the second round were second-most in the field.
