WACO, Texas- Baylor (16-24, 5-10) hosts Kansas State (18-21, 5-10) this weekend for a three-game Big 12 series. Games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT Friday on FOX College Sports Pacific, 3 p.m. Saturday on FCS Atlantic and 2 p.m. Sunday on FOX Sports 1.

The Bears lead the all-time series against the Wildcats 42-21 overall, 25-4 in Waco and 41-20 under Steve Smith. BU has won 14 of the 18 all-time Big 12 series against KSU, but dropped last year's series in Manhattan, Kansas, losing two of three. The Bears enter the weekend after a midweek home win over Lamar while the Wildcats come to town after losing a midweek game at Nebraska.

BAYLOR VS. KANSAS STATE SERIES
Baylor leads the all-time series vs. Kansas State 42-21 overall, 41-20 under Steve Smith and 25-4 in Waco. Last season, KSU took two of three in Manhattan, Kansas, on April 17-19, 2014. Overall, Baylor has won 14 of the 18 all-time Big 12 series vs. KSU, including three of the last four series. The other three series wins for KSU also came in Manhattan: April 16-18, 2010, May 19-21, 2006, and April 26-28, 2002.

BAYLOR AGAINST THE BIG 12 CONFERENCE
As one of the league's founding members in 1997, Baylor owns a 493-559-4 record against the current members of the Big 12 Conference. The Bears own a 273-219 all-time record in regular season play. BU's all-time record against current league foes is as follows: Kansas (46-17), Kansas State (42-21), Oklahoma (41-42), Oklahoma State (38-41), TCU (139-119), Texas (105-234-4), Texas Tech (77-81) and West Virginia (4-4).

BAYLOR BALLPARK'S HOME SWEET HOME ADVANTAGE
Since the park opened in 1999, Baylor owns a 379-162 record at Baylor Ballpark and has never had a losing season in the stadium. The closest BU came to a losing season was in 2011, when the Bears were 16-14 at Baylor Ballpark. Since 2012, BU has won 16 of its 22 home series. The Bears are 13-8 at home this year and have won four of five series thus far (3-0 vs. No .13 Cal Poly | 2-1 vs. Kent State | 2-1 vs. West Virginia | 2-1 vs. Oklahoma | 0-3 vs. Texas State).

BAYLOR VS. RANKED TEAMS
Baylor is 31-39 against ranked teams since 2011 and 4-11 this season after sweeping No. 13 Cal Poly to open the season, falling to No. 2 LSU and No. 22 Texas A&M two weekends ago in the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park, losing at No. 20 Dallas Baptist on March 10, being swept at No. 4 TCU March 13-15 and being swept by No. 23 Texas Tech April 10-12. The Bears are 193-288-1 all-time against Baseball America ranked teams since 1981, and 1-9 this season (LSU, Texas A&M, Dallas Baptist, TCU). BU is 43-79 all-time against top five ranked opponents by Baseball America and 0-4 this year (No. 2 LSU (0-1), No. 4 TCU (0-3)).
