LOS ANGELES - The No. 9-ranked Baylor softball team heads from Fullerton, Calif. to Los Angles to face the No. 15 UCLA Bruins in a televised contest Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT at Easton Stadium.
The Bears (14-5) will take on UCLA (23-5) for the sixth-time in history, but it's the first time away from neutral territory the teams will face each other. UCLA and Baylor last played March 3, 2012 with the Bruins taking the all-time series lead 3-2 with a 10-6 win.
The Pac-12 Network will televise the game with Anne Marie Anderson on the call and Jessica Mendoza providing color commentary.
UCLA has won nine-straight games coming into the contest while the Bears are coming off a 2-3 weekend at the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton where Baylor defeated No. 13 Arizona Sunday.

BAYLOR V UCLA SERIES NOTES All-Time Series: UCLA leads, 3-2 (H: 0-0, A: 0-0, N: 2-3)
Last meeting: UCLA won 10-6, March 3, 2012
Tuesday marks Baylor's first trip to Easton Stadium to face UCLA. The Bears and Bruins have faced one another five times all-time, and all meetings came in neutral territory. UCLA has been nationally ranked in all six meetings. The two schools last played March 3, 2012 in Orlando, Fla. at the Citrus Classic, and UCLA took the edge in the all-time series (3-2) with a 10-6 win.
Baylor's Kaitlyn Thumann and Jordan Strickland are the only Bears left on the roster that played vs. UCLA?in the last meeting. Thumann was 0-for-2 while Strickland was 1-for-4 in the 10-6 loss.
UCLA seniors Stephany LaRosa, Ally Carda and Sam Duran all appeared in the last game with BU as freshmen. LaRosa went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the win, Carda went 1-for-3 and Duran appeared in a pinch runner role.

? Linsey Hays hit the 25th home run of her career, a grand slam vs. Fresno State, Sunday.
? Sarah Smith collected six hits at the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, Calif. over the weekend, the third of which was her 125th career hit.
? Smith hit a home run apiece in wins over Fresno State and No. 13 Arizona Sunday, which gave her 15 career homers.
? Smith's double vs. No. 13 Arizona Sunday was the 25th double of her career.
? Heather Stearns tallied 17 strikeouts in five appearances at the Judi Garman Classic over the weekend, the seventh of which, was her 350th career strikeout.
? Jordan Strickland is two hits shy of 150 for her career.
BAYLOR RECORDS WATCH
? Kaitlyn Thumann scored the 137th run of her career Sunday vs. Arizona, which moved her to fifth place all-time on the Baylor career runs list; She passed Harmony Schwethelm (136, 2003-06) to take fifth.
? Thumann moved to eighth all-time on the BU career list for total bases (271).
? Smith passed Kelly Levesque (26, 2002-04) for the all-time lead for hit by pitches with her 27th vs. Pacific Saturday.
? Hays' four RBI at the Judi Garman Invitational moved her in sole possession of fourth-place all-time on the school's career RBI list with 112 passing Holly Holl (108, 2011-14) and Kelly Osburn (108, 2003-06).
