WACO, Texas - Following Baylor's game against West Virginia on March 22, the Bears will shave their heads at Baylor Ballpark to raise money for the Vs. Cancer Foundation.

BU did the same event last year after playing Kansas on April 26, 2014, and raised over $3,000 that helped fund games, books and supplies for the family waiting room and a procedure room light for bone marrow transplant patients at McLane Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas.

All proceeds will benefit the Vs. Cancer Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. Of the proceeds, the foundation will send half to benefit McLane Children's Hospital, and the other half will benefit national childhood cancer research.

All fans are invited to shave their heads via Sport Clips with the team for a minimum donation of $10 to be collected on game day. Fans can also donate by visiting the team's website at https://team.vs-cancer.org/fundraise/team?ftid=42775. The team has a goal of raising $6,000.
