Softball's Doubleheader with Southern Miss Canceled

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Baylor and Southern Miss canceled its softball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday evening due to inclement weather. The No. 12 Lady Bears will now turn their attention to the first annual Gulf Coast Classic in Gulfport, Miss. Friday thru Sunday.
Baylor (12-3) will take on No. 24 Louisiana Friday at 5 p.m. before taking on undefeated and un-ranked Mississippi State at 8 p.m. The Lady Bears will also face Texas State and No. 16 South Alabama Saturday before closing with UTSA Sunday.
Baylor's games with Southern Miss have no immediate plans to be made up.
