THE RUNDOWN
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - The Baylor women's golf team shot 9-over 297 in Monday's second round at the Alamo Invitational, dropping BU to ninth place with an overall score of 10-over 586 through 36 holes.
Junior Laura Lonardi and sophomore Hadas Libman are tied for 24th place with total scores of 2-over 146 after shooting 1-over 73 and 2-over 72, respectively, in Monday's second round. Senior Hayley Davis and freshman Giovana Maymon both shot 3-over 75, putting them in a tie for 30th place with overall scores of 3-over 147.
Sophomore Louise Gateau-Chovelon fell to a tie for 60th place after shooting 8-over 80 for an overall score of 9-over 153.
HIGHLIGHTS
? As a team, BU has 31 birdies, the fourth-most in the 15-team field.
? With an average of 2.88, Davis has the third-best par-3 scoring average in the field.
? Maymon has the third-best average in the individual field on par 4s with a 3.90 scoring average.
? Libman has 26 total pars through 36 holes, the third-most in the individual field.
STAT OF THE ROUND
7 - the number of strokes BU was under-par as a team on No. 13 and No. 14 back-to-back. Baylor had seven birdies and three pars on the two holes.
