Final Aggie Invitational Results in PDF Format 
BRYAN, Texas - Aided by four top-25 individual finishes, the Baylor men's golf team placed fourth Sunday at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Golf Club.
Entering the final round five strokes out of third place, Baylor held off a final-round surge by Texas to finish fourth. The Bears' carded a final-round 368, finishing the weekend at 41-over-par (376-377-368=1121).
The Big 12 dominated the top of the final leaderboard. Host Texas A&M widened its lead in the final round, winning by an 18-stroke margin with a final tally of 5-over-par (370-359-356=1085). Top-ranked Oklahoma State finished second at 23-over-par (371-366-366=1103), followed by Texas Tech in third at 34-over-par (371-377-366=1114). Baylor finished ahead of No. 12 Texas, No. 37 Kent State and No. 28 Oklahoma.
"With the exception of a couple of big numbers, we played really well Sunday," head coach Greg Priest said. "We had a chance to move up to third in the standings, but holes 7, 8 and 9 beat us up a little bit."
Oklahoma State's Peter Uihlein took home medalist honors, shooting 6-under-par 210 to win the Aggie Invitational by five strokes. Texas A&M's Jordan Russell and Oklahoma State's Kevin Tway tied for second at 1-under-par 215.
Joakim Mikkelsen and Ryan O'Rear turned in Baylor's two sub-par scores of Sunday's final round. Mikkelsen posted his fifth top-15 finish of the season, tying for 14th overall at 6-over (79-73-70=222). O'Rear bounced back from his second-round 82 with a final-round 69 to tie for 22nd at 8-over (73-82-69=224).
Seniors Cody Paladino and Payne Gniewek finished tied for 24th at 9-over-par 225. Matthew Seligmann carded his best 18-hole score of his college career with a 73 to tie for 41st at 15-over-par (78-80-73=231). Jerry Ruiz finished 47th overall at 17-over-par (77-74-82=233), while Lorenzo Scotto tied for 57th.
"Hopefully we'll keep getting better," Priest said. "The team's confident right now and we feel good about where we are. We feel like we can go into the Big 12 Championship and compete."
With the regular season completed, Baylor will travel to Hutchinson, Kan., for the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship, which will be held April 25-27 at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
