MGOLF Reveals 2026-27 Schedule

BU opens the season Sept. 7-8 at the Bomb Darts Birds Collegiate
WACO, Texas — Baylor men's golf released its schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season Thursday, announced by first-year head coach Jean-Paul Hebert.
BU will compete in 10 regular-season events, with four in the Lone Star State, including the Big 12 Championship April 26-28, which will debut at the Covey at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, Texas.
Hebert is excited about the slate his team will face in his first season in green and gold.
"I really like the balance we have built into our schedule," he said. "It gives us the variety that we need to prepare for the postseason, and it's going to be a lot of fun for our players."
The Bears will open the season with a trip to Chandler, Ariz., for the Bomb Darts Birds Collegiate, followed by the 13th trip in 14 seasons to the OFCC Fighting Illini Invitational Sept. 18-20.
Baylor will make its first appearance of the season in Texas at the Trinity Forest Invitational. In three previous appearances, BU has never finished outside the top five and includes a win in 2018.
The fall slate closes with the return of the Big 12 Match Play Oct. 12-14 in Salt Lake City, Utah. In its previous iteration, Baylor won the event in 2018 and 2020, with runners-up finishes in 2023 and 2024.
The spring opens with the Purdue Dominican Republic Classic Feb. 7-9, followed by the Bears' first appearance in the Louisiana Classics since 2007 on March 8-9.
BU heads west for the Pauma Valley Collegiate from March 15-17, before returning to the Maridoe Collegiate March 30-31. Baylor put together one of its best tournaments of the season in Carrollton, finishing third a season ago.
The Bears return to the Aggie Invitational for the sixth time in the last seven years, winning the event in 2024 (Apr. 10-11). The Big 12 Championship (Apr. 26-28) returns to Texas for the first time since 2024 and will be played at The Covey, which was named as the No. 1 golf course in Texas by Golf Digest in 2025.
NCAA Regionals will run from May 17-19 at one of six sites, including Bloomington, Ind.; Loudon, Tenn.; Lubbock, Texas; Maricopa, Ariz.; Murrells Inlet, S.C.; or Stillwater, Okla.
The NCAA Championship returns to the Omni LaCosta Resort in Carlsbad, Calif., hosted by the University of Texas, May 28-June 2.
