Baylor's 17th-ranked baseball looks for its first midweek win of the 2011 season when the Bears head south on I-35 to take on Texas State in San Marcos on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.

The Bears fell one spot to No. 17 in Baseball America's Top 25 after going 2-2 last week. The Bears dropped their second straight midweek game, 13-2 to Texas State, but they rebounded to win two of three in the Houston College Classic, including Sunday's 12-8 walk-off win over then-No. 21 Rice.

The Bears and Texas State played three times in 2010; the home team won all three games (BU went 2-1). The Bobcats won the most recent meeting, 13-2, when they traveled to Waco on March 1 this season.
