MountainView Collegiate Results in PDF Format

TUCSON, Ariz. - Baylor's recent struggles continued Friday as the women's golf team is in 18th place after two rounds at the MountainView Collegiate.

Baylor, which trails Big 12 rivals Kansas and Nebraska by two and four strokes, respectively, shot 42-over-par (313-305=618) during the tournament's opening two rounds. Three other Big 12 rivals are in the top five after 36 holes; Iowa State owns a nine-stroke lead at 7-under-par. Oklahoma and Arkansas are tied for second place at 2-over-par 578, followed by Colorado in fourth place at 7-over-par and Minnesota in fifth at 9-over-par.

Only six golfers are under-par after day one, including five from the Big 12. Iowa State's Prima Thammaraks and Arkansas's Emily Tubert share the lead at 4-under-par 140.

Baylor's low score in each round was 75 and came from the clubs of different golfers. Chelsey Cothran, Baylor's leader in stroke average and top-25 finishes, is tied for 54th after shooting 9-over-par 153. Cothran carded one of Baylor's two rounds of 75, while the other came from freshman Kaylin Terry.

Baylor's second-leading scorer, Jaclyn Jansen, is tied for 67th at 12-over-par 156, followed by teammates Lene Hafsten-Morch and Jordan Rhodes tied for 79th at 15-over-par 159. Terry is in 87th place at 16-over-par 160.
