Charleston Shootout Results in PDF Format 
HOLLYWOOD, S.C. - Behind a season-best first-round 285, the Baylor men's golf team owns a five-stroke lead Monday through two rounds at the Charleston Shootout.
Baylor fired a first-day score of 4-under (285-287=572) and has three golfers shooting under-par through 36 holes. The Bears, which carded back-to-back sub-par rounds for the first time this season, bested its previous 36-hole low score by one stroke.
Co-host College of Charleston is in second place 1-over 577, followed by Radford in third at 7-over, Campbell in fourth at 8-over and co-host Charleston Southern in fifth at 10-over. Campbell's Vaita Guillaume leads the individual field by five strokes, finishing Monday at 9-under 135. Charleston Southern's Jacobo Pastor is in second at 4-under 140.
Three Baylor golfers are in the top 10 through 36 holes. Drammen, Norway, native Joakim Mikkelsen was Baylor's top individual scorer on the first day, carding a 3-under 141 and is in third place overall. Sophomore Jerry Ruiz is two strokes behind Mikkelsen in a seventh-place tie at 1-under 143, while Ryan O'Rear is tied for 10th with an even-par 144.
Cody Paladino is the fourth Baylor golfer to be in the top 20 after two rounds; the Kensington, Conn., product is tied for 19th overall at 2-over 146. Lorenzo Scotto is tied for 30th at 5-over 149.
Entering the final round as the tournament leader for the first time this season, Baylor will take aim at its first tournament title Tuesday in Charleston. Live scoring for the final round of the Charleston Shootout will be available www.golfstat.com.
