WG 15th After 36 Holes at NCAA West Regionals

TEMPE, Ariz. - For the second time in as many days, Hannah Burke and Lene Hafsten-Morch paced the Baylor women's golf team as the Lady Bears carded a 21-over, 309 during the second round of the NCAA West Regional. Baylor currently sits tied for 15th place as a team.

Burke and Hafsten-Morch both fired a 3-over, 75 Friday afternoon at the 6,230-yard Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. Burke, a junior from Hertfordshire, England, is in 19th place individually with a two-day 145 (70-75) headed into Saturday's third and final round. Hafsten-Morch's 75 is the second straight at the NCAA West Regional for the sophomore from Billingstad, Norway who sits tied for 53rd overall.

No. 1 ranked Arizona State remains atop the team leaderboard at 20-under, after a second-round 283. ASU's Carlota Ciganda is the top individual at 9-under.

One day after shooting a 13-over, 85, Jordan Rhodes rebounded Friday to shoot a 76 during the second round of play. Rhodes sits tied for 98th overall with teammate Morgan Chambers who tallied an 83 Friday.

Also competing for Baylor was Chelsey Cothran. Cothran, a freshman from Springdale, Ark., finished round two with an 11-over, 83.

The Lady Bears will tee off in the third and final round of the NCAA West Regional Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. MST
