The Baylor softball team (33-17) will step out of conference play for the final time this season and welcome UTSA (23-23) to Getterman Stadium on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. The Lady Bears are 18-1 in non-conference games at home this season.

"We have one week of softball left in the regular season and we have to finish strong," head coach Glenn Moore said. "We need to start by protecting our home turf. We have a lot of games in a short amount of time, but this team is ready."

The Lady Bears and Roadrunners have faced off once already this season, as the Baylor won 7-3 in the Getterman Classic on Feb. 14.

UTSA enters the contest after dropping three of its last four, including two-of-three from Cal State Bakersfield this past weekend.

Baylor is 9-1 against Southland Conference foes this season.
