Final Aggie Invitational Results in PDF Format 
BRYAN, Texas - Baylor entered Sunday's final round within striking distance of the top five, but the men's golf team stumbled, finishing 10th overall at the Aggie Invitational.
The Bears, which shot 1-over in Saturday's round, shot a 40-over 400 in Sunday's final round to finish 12 shots behind No. 13 Texas Tech and No. 40 New Mexico for eighth place.
Big 12 rival and fourth-ranked Oklahoma State finished at 6-under 714, winning the event which teams entered six players and count five scores. In the traditional college format, teams enter five players and count four scores. After shooting 19-under Saturday, Oklahoma State shot 13-over in the final round. Host and 22nd-ranked Texas A&M finished second at 3-under 717, followed by Ohio State in third and San Diego State and TCU in a tie for fourth.
Oklahoma State's Rickie Fowler won individual honors with a 6-under 138. Teammate Morgan Hoffmann finished second at 5-under 139.
Freshman Joakim Mikkelsen was Baylor's highest finisher, firing a 5-over 149 to place 26th overall. Austin Berkovsky, who entered Sunday tied for fifth, shot a 10-over 82 over the final round to finish tied for 36th at 7-over 151. Bill Allcorn also finished tied for 36th at 7-over, followed by Colton Williams in 49th at 9-over 153.
Morten Bergan and Peter Fallon rounded out the Baylor competitors in 71st and 76th place, respectively.
As a team, Baylor combined for four birdies, while struggling with 15 holes of double-bogey or worse, through 126 holes Sunday.
Baylor will now prepare for the 2009 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship which will be played Mon.-Wed., April 27-29, at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan. A total of 72 holes will be played over three days - golfers will play 36 holes to begin the event Monday, followed by 18 on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
