The Baylor softball team (10-3) will look to continue its hot streak Tuesday in a midweek doubleheader with Oklahoma Christian (2-2) beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Getterman Stadium. The Lady Bears have won four-straight and 10 of their last 11, including an 8-0 home record.
"We need to keep our momentum going," head coach Glenn Moore said. "With another home tournament coming up this weekend, we need continue to improve ourselves offensively and defensively."
The Lady Bears are coming off a home sweep of Sam Houston State this past weekend. Tiffany Wesley had a solid weekend, batting .417 with three doubles and four RBI over the three games, while Whitney Canion went 2-0, collecting 26 strikeouts over 17 innings of work.
Oklahoma Christian opened play over the weekend, defeating Friends (Kan.) University in a pair of games but falling to Oklahoma City University in its two opening games.
Baylor leads the all-time series, 5-2, including a 2-1 mark in Waco. The two teams last played on April 1, 2004 in Waco with the Eagles earning a split.

The Lady Bears will host their final home tournament, The QTI Invitational, beginning Friday, featuring Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe and Rutgers.
