Idaho won the tournament with a three-round team score of 7-over. UC Irvine finished second at 14-over, while San Diego State finished third at 16-over.
The Lady Bears finished ahead of Big 12 rivals Kansas and Kansas State, which tied for seventh at 36-over. Host New Mexico State finished 14th overall at 52-over.
"I'm proud of the way our team battled back today to finish tied for fourth," Baylor head women's golf coach Sylvia Ferdon said. "Everyone had moments of really playing well and I only saw a few bad plays."
Senior Hannah Burke, who was in second place through two rounds, shot a final-round 77 to finish tied for sixth overall at 3-over (69-73-77=219). It is Burke's 17th career top-10 finish; she now trails all-time leader Melanie Hagewood (21) by four.
"I feel terrible for Hannah," Ferdon said. "She had a chance to win it heading into today. Overall, it was a good tournament and I'm proud of our team."
