WACO, Texas — Baylor’s baseball fall scrimmage against Temple College, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13, has been postponed due to inclement weather in Central Texas. The game will be rescheduled for a later date, likely next week.
The Bears also face Texas in a fall scrimmage Sunday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. CDT at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin, Texas. While the fall scrimmages do not count toward the teams’ 2010 win-loss records, it does count toward the teams’ maximum number of games (56) for the 2010 schedule. Therefore, the Bears’ 2010 schedule will consist of 54 games.
Baylor returns 18 letterwinners from a 2009 squad that finished 30-26 and made the program’s 10th NCAA appearance in 12 years.
