HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - For the second time this month, the Baylor women's golf team returns to Colorado to compete in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Monday at Highlands Ranch, Colo.
The Bears will be one of 13 universities competing in the three day, 36-hole tournament to conclude Wednesday afternoon. Baylor finished second overall last season at the invitational.
Hannah Burke, Lene Hafsten-Morch, Morgan Chambers, Jaclyn Jansen and Jordan Rhodes will compete for the Bears in the team competition. Natalie Hocott, who placed 72nd overall last time out at the Ptarmigan Classic, will be the lone Baylor golfer competing for the individual title.
Baylor is coming off a seventh place finish at the Ptarmigan Classic in which three golfers placed amongst the top 20 for coach Sylvia Ferdon and the Bears.
"I felt that we did some really good things last time out. We've had two weeks to work on a few things, so I think we should be ready to go," Ferdon said. "If we can just go out and have three days of solid play, we'll be in good shape."
Action begins from the Highlands Ranch Golf Club on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring and full tournament results can be found at golfstat.com.
