Women's golf returns to action Sunday, as the Bears participate in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. Baylor looks to defend their first place finish in 2007's tournament in this final regular season tournament.

The Bears will play two rounds on Sunday and one on Saturday at the Oklahoma-hosted event. Baylor last competed at the Mountainview Collegiate where the team finished a disappointing 16th out of 17 teams.

Baylor won the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic last season, with four Bears scoring in the top 16. Former senior Anna Rehnholm had the Bears' best individual finish with a second place effort of 210 (68-69-73). Current sophomore Hannah Burke also turned in a stellar 5th place finish.

The 2008 16-team field includes Arkansas-Little Rock, Bucknell, Iowa State, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Missouri State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Old Dominion, Oral Roberts, SMU, Texas A&M, UTEP, and Wisconsin.
