The Baylor women's golf team shot 331 on Wednesday to finish at 660 for the tournament to earn an tie for 14th-place at the Betsy Rawls Invitations in Austin, Texas. The tournament was shortened to two rounds after Tuesday's round was cancelled due to inclement weather.
New Mexico won the team title, finishing the three-day, two-round tournament at 623, one stroke ahead of Florida. Arkansas' Stacy Lewis took individual medalist honors, shooting 74 and 77 to finish at 7-over par.
Freshman Lene Hafsten-Morch led the Bears, carding an 82 in the final round to finish at 17-over par in a tie for 29th place. Hafsten-Morch shot a 79 in first round.
Kristen Hendrix carded a team high 80 in the final round to finish the tournament at 21-over par in a tie for 51st place. Morgan Chambers finished in a tie for 61st place at 24-over par after two rounds of 84.
Natalie Hocott shot 85 in the final round to finish the weekend at 25-over in a tie for 67th. Hannah Burke finished out the scoring for Baylor, carding an 89 in the final round to finish in 74th place at 27-over par.
The Lady Bears return to action on March 29-30 as Baylor travels to Tucson, Arizona to take part in the Mountainview Collegiate.
