LUBBOCK, Texas - The Baylor women's golf team posted a third and final round 305 of the Jeannine McHaney/Audrey Morehead Invitational to place second after leading for a majority of the tournament.

Baylor ended the 54-hole tournament with a score of 913 (302-305-306), five shots back of tournament champion Arkansas-Little Rock. The Bears were the top 12 finisher among the seven conference teams at the tournament.

"I felt that the girls hung in there and played really tough, especially with it still being so early in the season," said head coach Sylvia Ferdon. "To come out of it as the top Big 12 school is just icing on the cake."

Hannah Burke, a junior from Hertfordshire, England, tallied her second even-par performance of the tournament to finish second overall with a three-day 220 (73-74-73). It was Burke's fifth career top-five finish.

Baylor sophomore Lene Hafsten-Morch recorded the best finish of her collegiate career with a third place showing. Hafsten-Morch closed out the tournament with a 2-over 75 to finish at 221 (73-73-75) over the course of 54 holes at the Rawls Course

Natalie Hocott was the next top finisher for Baylor with a three-round total of 237, following a third round 78.

Sophomore Morgan Chambers tied for 41th place with a 239, while freshman Jacyln Jansen had a final total of 243. Competing as a non-scoring medalist, Jordan Rhodes tallied a final round 79 to finish tied for 21st overall with a 235.
