WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's golf team has added assistant Jeff Loyd to the coaching staff, head coach Greg Priest announced on Wednesday.

Loyd joins the Baylor coaching staff following a 17-year career in the high school ranks as the men's head golf coach at Highland Park High School in Dallas. Loyd, who taught physical education for 18 years, served as an assistant football and basketball coach before assuming the head men's golf coaching duties in 1990.

He and his wife Terry have been married for 21 years, and have one daughter Jessica, a senior at Lake Highlands High School.
