OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- Due to heavy rain in the area, the opening games for the Big 12 Conference Championship slated for Thursday, May 10, have been postponed. The schedule adjustment means the No. 5 Baylor softball team will now face the winner of Texas Tech and Oklahoma State on Friday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m. on the main field of ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

The semifinals of the tournament have now been moved to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, with the finals slated for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The championship game will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.

The postseason honors for the Big 12 Conference will be announced on Thursday evening.
