WACO, Texas --- Due to heavy rains in the Waco area, the No. 8 Baylor softball team's contest with No. 5 Texas A&M has been postponed until Saturday, May 5, at 4:00 p.m. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the Tuesday contest will be able to use them for Saturday's meeting with the Aggies.

The Lady Bears (43-12, 12-3) enter the week two wins away from clinching at least a share of the regular season Big 12 Conference title; however, a loss to the Aggies or Texas on Thursday will eliminate Baylor from the regular-season title race.

Baylor will return to action on Thursday, May 3, as the Lady Bears host Texas at 6:30 p.m. in a contest that will be nationally televised by CSTV.

Only a limited number of general admission tickets remain for the contests with the Longhorns and the Aggies. For tickets, contact the Baylor Ticket Office at 1-800-BAYLOR-U or 254-710-1000 or purchase tickets online at www.baylorbears.com. Pricing is $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 2-18.
