AMES, Iowa --- Due to the threat of inclement weather in the area on Sunday, the No. 7 Baylor softball series with Iowa State has been rescheduled to be played as a doubleheader on Saturday, April 21, at 2:00 p.m.
Baylor and Iowa State met earlier this season with the Lady Bears picking up a 7-2 win over the Cyclones at the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational in Lafayette, La. Kirsten Shortridge picked up the complete game victory, allowing only two unearned runs on two hits in the victory. Charissa Carlin took the loss for Iowa State after allowing four runs on seven hits in five innings of work.
Baylor leads the all-time series with Iowa State, 11-8, as the teams split a pair of games the last times the teams squared off in Ames.
Both contests can be hear via live, streaming audio on the official website for Baylor Athletics, www.BaylorBears.com.
